Post Snow Tires

I have a 2005 C230 Kompressor and would like to get some snow tires. I have found a person who has rims and tires that he had used on a 2001 E320 4matic Wagon. I assume that the bolt pattern is the same (5 x 112), however; is there anything else I need to be concerned about?

Yes, the offset and size are considerations.

How do I find out what the offset is on either set of wheels?

Do you mean how to find the data from the wheels you are considering or the correct wheels for your car?

Wheels have the offset figure printed (usually: ET) and you can find the correct ET for each wheel/tyre size from your manual.

Looks like you want to be prepared for the winter well in advance.
