Hi! I'm a new member. Recently bought a 1981 300D (one owner, 99,000 miles). There's a pretty large puddle where the rear left passenger's feet would be - I can't trace it to anything. The carpet is already stained there, so it may have been happening for a while. Trunk and sunroof are dry. Any ideas? Thanks!

Welcome, but sorry to hear about your 300D taking on water. I would blame the front or rear windshield seal. I had a 240D that would get puddles on the drivers side and it turned out to be the rotted-away front windshield seal. The water would find it's way down and gravity would take it to the floor pans. Since yours is in the rear, I would suspect the rear window seal.
