Transmissions

And this is the first and last time I will post this. I am getting tired of the number of questions on transmission fluid change. As a rule of thumb every 60k it should be changed, regardless of what MB say. And when any car maker says filled for life, they mean filled for the life of the warranty. After that it is your problem.

ERIC.

There's no transmission on which Mercedes now says filled for life. Pre-722.6s are every 30k miles.

If any of you think the 722.9 is a problem then buy a 7 series E65 BMW and cry. New valve body/control module and torque converter is a normal thing with them, I have two in the workshop waiting for parts.

Correct, they will, I am going to try and ignore them. Time newbies did a search and a little homework eh.
