i checked where i bought it from mate and it says it wont run with vista.
You could have clarified what "it
" is but I interpret you are not asking for help. I'll post a link anyway so that this is not left as an opinion between me, you and your supplier. You did not mention which version you have but if you search the forum, you can find members who have been running WIS on Vista for years, I tried it myself out of curiosity on a computer that I would not use.

yeah this is correct it wont warn , this is on the passenger and drivers seat . when i had it upholsterd some one beleives the bases could have been swapped but i dont want to take them appart without the diagrams
Did you check the wiring to the seat belt buckle switch? I cannot see how a swap of the seat base would create your issue if you don't get any warning when both seats are occupied.
