Please HELP!!

I need to replace the windsheild on my 2007 mercedes R320 due to a crack.

I am wondering, can I remove the sensor from my cracked windshield and put it into a new windsheild??

or is it impossible and I need to purchase a windshield that comes with a built in sensor already???

This is a rare case. Call the dealer for a quote on the windshield, ask them if it comes with the sensor or the sensor costs extra. It it costs extra then the old sensor can be re-used. You'll need to examine to see how the old one can be detached from the cracked windshield, attached to the new windshield. An independent shop can do it or you do it yourself after they replace the windshield.
