Howdy a new mercedes owner:0)

I have a 1992 mercedes 300e that i saved from the scrapper...I purchased it for 300.00 with front end had damage but airbags were not deployed...phewwww..(went above the bumper) mom had let her 16yr old drive it and he rearended a van...listening to his ipod sending a text and playing with his made repairs and it is on the road with a few issues none major..need help with the is flashing wait...and nothing else...what do i do?????

I'd say read the owners manual. I don't know what radio you have but the Clarion radio in Saab's back in '92 would display "code" if you entered the wrong security code after the the power was disconnected (radio pulled or battery disconnected). With the Saab/Clarion radio, the only way around the message was to leave the radio on for 1 hour, then you could re-attempt entering the code. The dealer could get the security code for the radio with proof of ownership. The Saab owners manual outlined the security procedures in detail & would have a little card with the security code on it. Hopefully your radio issue is similarly simple. -G
