From the chart on post #10 it seems that W202 with engine 104 was for the USA only, - but I might be wrong about that.

Was your car imported to Japan from the US? Is it LHD?

Thanks for replying. My car is RHD made in Germany and imported to Japan from there. As far as I know my engine is 104. Below is information on my car. Can't remember where I pulled it from but a few years ago I had a tranny problem and I think MetaFly (memeber here) gave me a link where I can add the vin and get the details below. Thanks for taking the time to help.

Hi guys,

I might have a similar problem on my 94' C280 that leads to a new fuel filter or something. Please advice!

I replaced my old MAF with a new one. The new one got rid of the jerky idling problem. However, the delay and very bouncy start at the red light is still there. It sometimes even die on me. The car ride well after it gets going. I read on other threads that problem could be many but sounded like the following are the most likely: a. Fuel filter b. Fuel Pump Relay c. Overload Protection Relay. Am I close to the solution or not even in the ball park? Your advice is highly valued.
