Congrats on your new purchase! But do not let the dealer convince you need extras.
Dealer add-ons are typically almost pure profit. That "special hard coating" is probably nothing more than a coat of wax costing the dealer a couple of bucks and 20 minutes time. And then they charge you 2 or 3 hundred for it. Extended warranties make more sense on used cars, but never on new ones.
Same goes for "underbody" coatings and "protection". All B.S.. These are Mercedes, they don't need a thing extra to protect it! They have many coats of paint and clear coat.
