Thanks for the encouragement, Ricardo, and congrats on the 97 S320 LWB. Two things I wish my 97 was: the LWB and 4-Matic! Oh, well. Why "save" the 85 S-class diesel and not use your 97 320 more? Is the 1985 Diesel in even better condition? (Just restored; just answered my own question!) I had a 1990 190E, too. My black "Baby Benz" with Palomino interior. I LOVED that car. The gear shifts were a neck-braker, though! Got any pics of all the cars in your "Stable", Ricardo?
I respect and salute your service to our country, Ricardo. Please be safe.
All the best,

When I got back from Afghanistan (Kandahar Airfield) I bought the 1997 S320 as my return gift I always wanted one. When I was having the dealer adjust the valves on the 300SD I found a one owner S320 A doctor was getting ready to trade it in for a E350. I drove it and saw all the dealer records only maintained at the dealer it is clean and drives like dream. I was not so keen on the color (Smoked Silver) but it has grown on me now I like the color. I had a Colonel ask to buy it yesterday I said "No" I could have made a nice profit. My 300SD was in bad shape when I bought it from my Mechanic back home. I had new paint job and put 15" MB rims and replaced brakes and shocks added a few things here and there. It drives really nice it is my weekend car (Cold Cold Air). I put a custom Stereo in the car that sounds great. I have a nagging crack in the dash I do not know what to do to repair it. The seats are worn and need work that is all that remains. It does not drip a drop of fliud with 255K on her and still has a good exhaust system. I love to drive that car! Good luck with the s320 they are not that hard to work on. I am replacing the brakes on the S320 this weekend I did the 300SD last weekend very easy I was surprized how easy it was. I used Cermanic pads and they work very well. I get all my directions from this website without the instuctions I would have never attempted the work myself. I am a pilot and my guys won't let me near an aircraft with a tool that tells you I am not a good mechanic at all. If I take some pictures I will post them
