Scheduled Service PrePay Maintenance Plan

Probably a stupid question but hey I'll as it.

Anybody know if there is such a thing as a prepay maint plan for Scheduled services? I know I am dreaming but is there such a thing?

I guess what would be nice is if there is a one time fee similar to an extended warranty or even a yearly fee that reduces the cost. Anything?

If there is one is offered by a particular dealer. However, what you would buy is a rope which is tied to a cow and, as you service the vehicle you will get bills for the cow. Namely, we checked and you need this, or that, etc etc.

If you're still interested, check with your MB dealer's service department. Who knows...

A car would show appreciation for preventive maintenance by never leaving his owner stranded.

Why exactly would you want to do this? Tying up your money for an extended time frame is not a good idea. There is also no reason to service your 5 year old SLK at the dealer. Bring it to a good independent and save even more money.

When you buy a new car there is a pre-paid service plan that lasts through the first few services, 30,000 miles I think. As mentioned, certain dealers might offer this on pre-owned, you'd have to ask.
