Brian and Elisabeth

Now an MB owner, even though B class is bottom end. The fact is that we chose this car on specification only and it came out winner - met all our demands over its rivals. It is actually " my wifes" car, but used equally by both of us. I do tend to use the Alfa - Spider rather more.

Very interested in car mechanics and with a neighbour we can spend hours taking apart car designers ( mechanics that is ) - I don´t know how some of them keep their jobs. So far I only found one item. Changing front light bulb. Why ? Turn the problem around. Make it easy to take out the whole housing. Forget the 20 min fix - thats if you have done it once already - I actually spent 4 hours first time - a lot of incidences on the way. Second time yes, 20 mins. I asked a garage mechanic if they had special tools, " no we do it the same way - after a couple of times you get good at it."

Sorry for beefing on, but changing light bulbs is a big issue with car magazines in Sweden - it is a safety issue. We did introduce the elk test as well known to A class owners.

Well, we really like this car every day, not too often you can say that. Now we are both retired, it is easy to get in and out, we can take the grandchildren out ( we took the folded in child seat option ). The dog sits in its cage in the back, I can carry a lot of IKEA furniture and building materials. It serves as a limousine when we take out friends for the evening.

Bit pricey but everything is well done.

Could well be a another the day I sell my Alfa.

For retired people the B Class is a really good car to buy and welcome to Benzworld. At the bottom of this page you will find forum jump, open this and scroll down to the W245 B Class forum. Click on that and join fellow B Class owners.
