A little late...

Hi everyone,

My name is John and I live in San Antonio, TX. I joined the forum a short time ago and skipped over new member introductions at that time. I have three Benz's now; a Mars Red 2005 C230 that I bought as a CPO about 4 years ago; a Silver 2000 C280 Sport that I bought as a safe/reliable first car for my 16 year old daughter and my latest acquisiton a Midnight Blue 1985 380SL.

I was looking for a project convertible like a Mustang GT or something along those lines when I stumbled across a rough SL at a pretty good price. Given my experience with my two C-classes I couldn't pass it up. I hauled it home a week ago! I'm planning a relatively slow restoration...taking time to enjoy the work and spread the expenses out a little bit. I'll be looking for guidance and a few spare parts!
