whats your take on this ?

i was just wondering because im planning on buying a car i can use for everyday use, and i looked up a Mercedes-Benz G500 1991 with 147 k on it.The owner is asking 21 000 $ for it. I wanted to know is that too expensive or should i jump on it.

Thank You !

Very difficult to say without knowing your location, but generally looks to be over-priced, above average retail pricing according to KBB.

Completing your profile would be helpful in this and other cases.

21 grands for intended daily driver and gas guzzler with 150k on it is too much no matter where.
What is your daily commute and why do you need heavy truck for it?

It's likely a gray-market car, which will be difficult to get serviced.

Find out that for sure--Europa International started importing Gs in 1993.

Go to G.Wagen USA and read the "history."

I personally don't think it's overpriced, but in regards to G-wagens the standard is likely "if you have to ask, you can't afford it."

Way over priced.

You can get this 2002 for $27,000.

G500 in excellent condition with only 43K miles! Leather, sunroof, Garmin/Kenwood Navigation system with DVD player and tv monitors in rear headrests, backup camera. Vehicle was originally manufactured for Canadian market then converted to U.S. standards. Mechanical speedometer is in kilometers per hour, digital speedometer is in MPH (see pictures). Rare vehicle, well maintained, only serious inquiries please. Thanks, Steve

Half the age and 1/4 the miles.

Where are you located? $21k is way too much in the US.
