C63?? I'm sorry, but that looks like a Honda Accord. I guess I got what I was looking for; the CLS is no good. I appriciate your info.

Is this a track car? Who needs 0-60 times under 4.5 seconds on a weekend cruiser?

It is kind of like my thoughts on Harley Davidson's, For that kind of money it better go too.

My opinion :
Get a Lancer Evolution X full spec, it won't cost you more than 35K brand new
4 door, 0-60 less than 5 sec. or 4.2 sec. in some models
One of the most grippy and best handling cars, cheap to maintain, it does accept a lot of modification.
It has a DSG gearbox ( semi-manual with gear shifters behind the wheel )
All Wheel Drive, I know the interior isn't fancy, but who cares when you can beat Ferrari and Porsche.

15K to spare, ( Spend it on a Beach vacation )

That's just my opinion, I don't take a commission from Mitsubishi and i don't have one either ( i only wish ), i have a 1996 E320.

Or if you have more than 80K you can go for the hyper car and get a GTR.

Go to youtube and research about both cars. and also watch top gear's episodes.

There isn't much else from Mercedes (that I would ever recommend from a reliability standpoint) with that kind of performance available under $50k. You will have to keep waiting for the higher end AMG stuff to depreciate. You better start saving for an SLR or SLS. It should do exactly what you want.....its just a little bit over the budget.
