Anyone got this key?

I'm new to this forum, with just a quick question.

Does anyone have this key and know how to take it apart to access the circuit board inside?

I don't know whick Merc uses it, so I couldn't search

That kind of key is used on 95-97 class E and from what I heard S class as well.
I was taking the remote apart to replace blade key and it was just snap on fitting.
Bear in mind that beside remote board there is small ignition chip in the assembly.

Do a search in he 210 forum. Looks like my 97 E420 key. There is at least one post showing how to disasemble, complete with photo's. Basically the halves will snap apart, although with some effort.
You do not need to disassemble to replace the blade key. you just press out the roll pin and put in the new key.
