Mercedes C220 diesel - horn & auto lights not working?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help me troubleshoot a problem with my 2003 UK spec right hand drive c-class c220 diesel?

All of a sudden, the horn has stopped working and so has the auto setting on the lights? The car is fitted with xeon headlights but only the drivers side headlight will switch on? I understand this is a common fault that needs an expensive replacement unit to fix it?

If I switch the main lights off and on a few times without the engine running, they eventually both switch on.

Could this be related to the horn problem as well?

I have no manual with the vehicle so can't tell where there might be a fuse problem 'if' there is even such a thing? How do I even consider troubleshooting this?

Has anyone got any idea where such a fuse for the horn might be? I can see the fuse box under the hood next to brake servo but I have no diagram of which fuse does what and they are not numbered

Can anyone help please?

Thanks in advance!

You have what Mercedes calls a W203 so I would post on that forum. You'll find it under the sedans section. Even if you had a fuse chart MB calls the horn fuse something other than horn but I can't remember what. You need to find an owner's manual and fuse charts.
