Repair Parts E-Tailers are not equal

If you need repair parts for your Mercedes there are several choices on line.

If your idea of a quality vendor is:

order processing "within 48 hours" after they process the charge on your credit card
initial shipment of part of your order in another 48 hours
when you request a status of outstanding parts and they respond "we will send email notification within 2 days"
No notification of backorders
partial shipments from warehouses all over the country
for "Customer service agents" to sidestep and ignore direct questions about the order
for "Customer service agents" to hang up on you when you request a supervisor
to leave a message for a supervisor and not get a return call

Is this what you want? If so, use mbpartswarehouse.com

If you want good pricing and good service use ANYBODY ELSE!

YMMV, I hope this will save other members some grief.

Yes, you're much better off with original parts from a Mercedes dealer.

x2 on the above link.
1) you can track status of your order online to see when out of stock parts arrive at their location
2) shipping is actual shipping costs, none of this X% of order
3) don't get charged till after they ship
4) notify you by email when shipped along with UPS tracking number
5) significant discount to list price
6) can get parts that weren't on U.S. vehicles. (e.g. child seat teather anchors from Canadian cars)

Overall I've been extremely satisfied with them.
