I DID IT! After days and days of reading StarTek and so many attempts I finally did it. What was odd was that I did it without half of the things the directions said I should see. Either way finally! Thanks guys!

You're quite welcome but Eric did a much better job! When I come across one I don't know I use the search function for "acronyms". A thread will pop up on the W163 ML-Class forums that lists quite a few of them in alphabetical order. Congrats on your service reminder re-set.

What does it mean by reset to factory settings?
Welcome to the forum. Just to clear up one question on your original post...

Your Owner's Manual should describe the multifunction displays and how to use them with the buttons on the steering wheel. You have options for many of the settings - eg, distance in miles or km, temperature in F or C, and various convenience & lighting options. These can be set up to the driver's preference, and saved in the ignition key memory. This can be different for 2 different keys (his & hers settings) provided you have the feature.

If you had continued to 'manufacturers default settings' these options might have changed. You can always re-set to your own preference.

We agree that regular American made Budweiser is garbage. European is better wherever it is made. Michelob is not too bad if you can find it on draft.

For New Year party on Las Vegas Strip the Police close the street to vehicle traffic and don't allow glass there. There are beer stands that sell beer in plastic bottles (!).
The only available this year was Budweiser, when in the past they also had Miller.
Saying that I am perfectly happy with my accommodation only 200 yards from the Strip + elevator

That sounds a little like Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Nice city, or was, years ago. I haven't been there for a long time and that's not the best time to see it.
