Post New Member 78 450SLC AMG

I purchase a 1978 450SLC AMG package about 1 year ago with the intentions of restoring the beauty. It only has 78K original miles, but the body and interior do need a complete restore. This is one of the rare animal grey market cars with a 5.0 engine, aluminum trunk and hood deck. Life happens and I will be posting pictures soon to try and sell it. If anyone is looking for a great project classic car worth restoring, keep your eyes open for my future post and pictures.
My wife also has a 1977 450SL that is georgous. I bought it 8 months ago with only 76K miles. Had been sitting in a garage for 10 years and all the interior parts were new, just needed to be installed. A quick run through the complete fuel system and she purrs like a kitten. It's our Sunday driver, unfortunately she never lets me drive it though. LOL
