New to this forum

Hello fellow MB drivers. Several months ago, I sold my 528it wagon and found a nice, low mileage, 2001 CLK55 AMG to take it's place. Feels like it's carved out of a single ingot of steel. The previous owner(s) must not have liked the AMG suspension or wheels as they have upgraded to H & R springs, Eibach bars, shocks and who knows what other suspension mods. Maybe more money than common sense, but it handles pretty well in the corners, and needless to say, it gets out of it's way right now. I love having all that V8 torque!

I have a couple of Triumphs, a Lotus Esprit, and a Volvo 1800 that I am tinkering with and I mainly like restoring old British roadsters. The AMG is my daily driver as it's very comfortable and composed, until you wake up the beast.

I look forward to reading posts and learning more about these wonderful German automobiles from those of you with more experience with them than I.
Best wishes,
Ed

cybertron3, I love the old MG's. I would like to someday own and restore a TD or TF. Beautiful classic lines.
