MB-Tex upholstery and dash care

Both the dealer and MBUSA state that the MB-Tex and dash, etc. should be cleaned with a very diluted, mild detergent. NO protecting treatments recommended.
I have read where Lexol Vinylex and 303 Company products are supposed to be good for protecting both the upholstery and the dash, etc.
Anybody have any thoughts on this?

MB-Tex, as a seating surface is extremely wear resistant. About the worst that can happen to it are punctures and burns. As a petrochemical product, it does not benefit from oils, soaps or "restorative" balms.

However, it can benefit from UV barriers, of which Aerospace 303 is one.

PolySteel protective coatings work extremely well in the MB interiors.

Both vinylex and aerospace 303 have UV protection and are good options.
