Hello, newbie with a electrical

Hi,

My name is Steve and today for some stranage reason my radio stopped and I heard a spark like a fuse blowing, once I took out the non Merc raido I noticed that all fuses within this wiring seemed ok all 3 of them. So then I checked all fuses in the engine area but all are fine, but could not locate the fuses behind the seat as described on here, so I decided to make a new feed and radio worked, but when going to lock the car via the remote nothing happed but it will lock inside the car using the botton and yje remote is flashing when being pressed.

Any help with this would be great

Sorted it!!!!
Took the radio back out to try and get a better understanding of the wiring I then managed to trace it back to the nokia phone unit, looking at the wire direction I noticed they leads go to the back of the car. After looking everywhere I noticed that the driver's rear seat lower light cover was a lot larger than the passenger, one I pushed it out I the see another fuse box, when checking then I found the blown one, changed it and I have the remote working and the original wire is now live again and re-conected.
