Does anyone know of any good Auto museums in the Middle East?

Greetings to one and all.

As the post title implies, I would like to know if anyone knows of any good
Automobile Museums/collections in the Middle East, Malaysia, Etc.?

Saudi Arabia, The UAE., Kuwait, Jordan, Malaysia, Etc.?

One would certainly think that there would have to be some rather spectacular collections, of New, Classic, and Rare, Very Limited edit. and/or Unique automobiles there.

Needless to say, (in My opinion) one should not be considered as
having a truly Spectacular Automobile Collection without including any
number of delightful automobiles produced by Mercedes-Benz & Maybach,
from both the past and the present!

Now, whether or not these Museums/Collections are or ever will be open for the pleasure of public veiwing, I suppose that is an entirely different question.

But at this time, I'm not aware that such a Museum (in those regions) even
exist.

Hello, I just came across this article on Jameslist, it seems there is a museum in Jordan that heavily features our favorite marque. Enjoy and please take some photos to share if you make a visit!

Car Museums in the Middle East

Just having moved back from the UAE, I know there is an automobile museum outside of Abu Dhabi, near Liwa (about 1 hour south). It is called the Emirates National Auto Museum. There are approximately 200 cars in this museum and which are owned by H.H. Sheikh Hamad Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan. This museum can be searched on Google....

My Greetings and Thanks to EHH, for the referral to the Emirates National
Auto Museum.

If I may ask, as you have only recently returned from the Gulf States,
Have you ever heard of this particular Classic, Re-designed 1959
Mercedes-Benz, Called the "Golden Angel Wing" ?

It was re-designed into this Arabesque style, some 30 years ago.

Please note, below is the direct (web Home page) link for/about the automobile.

Also please, in what Museum would you expect to see such a vehicle of this
unique design?

Again my thanks. RLH1
