#1 Mercedes dealer?

Who is the number one Mercedes dealer in the US? I'm assuming it is in LA or South Florida (Miami-Ft. Lauderdale) Anyone have a list of the top 10 dealers in the US by units/$? I know the top BMW (Vista) and Lexus (JM) dealer are both just outside Ft. Lauderdale (at least this is what their websites claim).
Thanks

This may be a question MB-USA may not care to answer as it might be seen as a disservice to their other dealers.

I grew up with a father involved in some of the major auto repair franchises in the country, both as a senior exec. in the national franchisor's headquarters and as a franchisee owning a couple shops--much better money owning. In each case there was a weekly newsletter to franchisees listing the top 25 by volume and dollars. The population of that list was very consistent, but absolute rank would change constantly. If you have a friend at a dealership they might give you a peek at whatever sales bulletin they get.

I don't think you're going to find the answer to your question easily. An extensive Google search didn't give me much, but I believe you've got the right geography more or less.

I have always been told Laguna Niguel in Orange County has the highest sales volume, and that Orange County is the fifth or sixth largest market for MB after the US in total, Germany, UK, and a couple other countries. That's right, more Mercedes sold in SoCal than most countries on Earth, but that makes sense really.

Edit: After reading the posts below, I realized I put Laguna Niguel rather than Fletcher Jones as I intended. My car was a Fletcher Jones car tho I visited several dealerships in SoCal over the years leading to my confusion.

I don't think Merc does the news bulletin to dealers listing top performers. I have never seen it.
But wouldn't you think the number one dealer would post it on their website? Vista BMW puts it all over their website and even boasts about selling 23,000 new units last year.

In my Google search on this, I certainly saw many dealers claiming to be the largest, etc. Of course saying and being are not always the same. I'll be interested to see if anyone comes up with documentation on who the top dealers are.

^^^

The gentleman above claims to be "Number One" based on Mercedes-Benz 2009 final sales reports.

"Hello, I’m Fletcher Jones Jr.
"I’m proud to announce we finished 2009 “Number One” for the 11th consecutive year, selling nearly twice as many Mercedes-Benz as anyone else in the entire country! "

There you go! Twice as many is many more.

Thanks for the link.
