Hello everyone, I need some help. I have a 2000 ML 320 truck and they say my transmission is going. I had it checked at the stealer and they said that they didn't recommend a transmission flush just to replace it. I have only had the vehicle 3 years I bought it used with 150,000 miles on it. It currently has 217,007 miles know and is in good condition. My transmission is going. I can drive it and It will give me no problems and then at times it takes a minute to pull out of 2nd or 3rd gear and sometimes it has a jerk when coming out of gear and sometimes it won't pull out of gear. I then have to pull to the side of the road and turn it off and on again. I took it to a mechanic and he changed the oil and there were no metal deposits. But he said my transmission needs to be replaced. Do I have to change the transmission or does it need adjusting or flushing? I live in California and need a good transmission shop that specializes in MB Tranny's. Can anybody help?
