Aux input

Hello to everyone.
I have a 2009 mercedes c class 200 Kompressor. It comes with an aux input in the glove compartment. Does anyone knows how to extract a cable via the back of the box compartment so i can use the ipod outside the conparment?

The audio & telematics or the W204 section would be better for this question but if I remember right, the AUX plug is inserted from the glove box and if you wanted to re-route it, you would have to disconnect (or cut) the cable to be able to remove the connector and feed the cable elsewhere.

I guess you were more after and extension cable from the current connector, I'm afraid you would need to drill a hole to the glove box and route the cable to an appropriate place. But the glove box has a charger port too, are you sure you want to run a lot of cables to some other place just to control your iPod?

Which head unit do you have? Have you considered using other means to play your music, like MP3 DVDs/CDs or the memory card slot if you have Comand?

Aux

Thanks.
I want to run an aux cable from the original input inside the compartemnt so i can control the ipod outside . I have an audio 20 system and i do not have the ipod interface, so that is the reason to run a cable outside. I check the comparment an i do not see a way to pull the cable out without making a hole.
