Remember that Mercedes uses lug bolts and not lug nuts, so if these are aftermarket items different bolts may be required, too. Best bet is to ask the manufacturer of the wheels.

The rims are currently on a CLS. The only problem i can see is that they're 9" wide. Do you know if those are to wide to fit on a smaller C240?

Basic answer is any wheel will fit any car if it's important enough to you. There are many, many examples of that on this site and others. Tirerack.com suggests that you may need to roll the fenders if you want to run the 19" wheels. They consider this a "very aggressive fitment."

Posts: 64 wheel size help code kba42359

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've got a banged up rim on my 1991 300e and a spare on a non-matching rim. I'm looking for a replacement rim, but cant determine the correct, matching offset.

I've searched here and elsewhere and find that my year and model could have one of three offsets, 44, 48, 49. I'm running 195/65R/15.

The only code I see is on the outside of the rim and it's KBA42359. They are 8 hole alloy.

Thanks Hmmmm you seem to have learned a lot in 5 months , or not . Any wheel will fit any car . So that means I can put a 18x12.5 rim with a 0 offset all the way around my car and I just have to roll the fender lips a little.

Mercedes c class's use 5x112 bolt pattern, they are high offset which will be between 35-42. So these wheels will fit. Rim width is should be ok too

Yes, I have learned a fair bit in 5 months and take the time to educate myself when possible. If you took the time to do a search of this site you would find many examples of non-standard wheels fitted to various cars, including C240. Yes, offset can be an issue, but time, money and persistence can solve anything.

Many folks on this site have tired of wheel size questions because it often devolves into foolishness. Your response is a good example of this. It is surprising to me that you took the time to open my profile, but couldn't take the time to do a search and answer your own question. It will be interesting to see how your stature develops on this board.

I did do a search and did not find anything. Maybe you should do a search for me and post the results . As for stature, you make it sound like some kind of prick waving battle. But I am not waving my prick, I just want INTELLIGENT info on wheels from someone who has done it .
