Hi - first post here. I am from South Australia, where it is now 26 degrees C after almost a week above 35 degrees C. Yesterday was almost 20 degrees warmer. I am a retired chap looking at getting our first Mercedes. I have my eye on a B-class with the diesel engine. I just need to be convinced about the reliability factor, and whether we will be disappointed with nagging problems, which one sees reported occasionally on the net.
Three years ago we bought a new Nissan X-Trail. We didn't need a four wheel drive at all, but we do need a fair bit of boot space, my wife likes the command driving position, and the price was right. It's proved to be a mistake. Not only is it cumbersome to drive, but we had a major warranty fix within the first six months. That takes away the feeling of new-car security, as most would know
So, can you reassure me, B-class owners? Will I be happy I bought one?
