Depends on where you live, where you drive, your age, marriage status, gender, ect..... In most areas, Geico will be near the cheapest, but also offer a good balance of service and cost.

Finding a good priced policy can be difficult because a lot of the most popular carriers are not the most competitive. You want to find the best company at the best price and using an experienced insurance broker is very important.

Geico was the most expensive for me. Statefarm was the cheapest. Shop around I had an independent insurance agent find me the best quote. the quotes that he brought up too me were cheaper then I got when I went online directly to the insurance companies.

I use Farmer's which is not available everywhere, I believe. My auto (4 vehicles) is laced in with my homeowner's and personal liability, so my rates are lower than they would be with a stand-alone auto policy.

Look into rolling all your property insurance with one carrier. I've found it saves a sizable amount of money and the total insurance bill is lower than finding individual carriers for each type of risk. In this case it is reverse synergy, and the whole is less than the sum of the parts.

Good luck.

Independent agents can usually give you the best deals because we have access to the most companies. Plus there are discounts that we can offer that direct or online companies can not.
