Exclamation i installed a amp an sub in my 99 clk 430 need hlp plz

I installed a system in my car it was working great but my remote wire came out an touched the ground and now the head unit wont come on can anyone help plz its killing me I cant figure it out I'm real good with the car audio by I'm new to the Benz don't wanna mess anything else up

Check all your fuses in the car. If they are good then you might have burned your radio

Sounds like the wire caused the radio fuse to blow. I would check the fuse first, if it is still good, then the head unit may have shorted out which would not be good.

And some aftermarket radios have a fuse either inline in the wiring harness, or actually on the back of the chassis, check that as well
