1972 MB 220 gas as everyday driver???

I've been looking for another older, dependable, inexpensive MB to drive everyday and recently found a 72' 220 gas w/95k miles, all service records, everything works(including a/c) for $3000. Is this model known for any major issues? Anything specific I should look for? Thanks

That's only 37 years old.
My bus conversion is the same exact year.
Don't expect too many people driving the model in recent years, but fact that the car survived all those years speaks for itself. Was AC converted to R134?
Might be good deal for short commutes, although for long commutes I strongly advise diesel.
