CLK 55 windows won't close

When it is cold (40 degrees F) my windows and sunroof will not operate correctly. They seem to sense they have hit an obstruction when trying to close and reverse back to full open. This creates a significant issue since I live in Oregon, where cold is often coupled with rain. I assume this is not an adjustment, but rather a cleaning and lubrication item. Where can I find instructions to fix this problem?

I can find nothing in the WIS about maintence of the side window glass movement. Could it be that the power window motor (incorrectly) senses high resistance to movement, and a safety system reverses the motion?

There is a page about cleaning and re-greasing the rails & slide blocks of the electric sliding roof, when required. A part No is listed, but I reckon any light grease would do the trick.

I myself am concerned about my CLK door glass when opening and closing a door if the car is covered in frost. This must put a strain on those window 'jiggle' motors.

my passenger window will do that, about half way up it reverses and goes back down.... sometimes. Other times it works fine. Same with the passenger seat adjustments. Push the headrest down and the seat back lays down..... move the seat back and the headrest goes up.... I think my car is a female.
