Hi - Are you talking about the front wheel on a W202? The item is called the hub.
This drawing suggests that the rotor is bolted to the hub, which fits over the kingpin & bearing and is secured by a nut. It sounds like your front wheel bearing has collapsed.

Will replacing the wheel bearing be enough or do we need to change the hub and spindle? We drove for 1 km after the collapsing of the bearing.
Can we swap the bearing from any of these cars?
