I want an E320 Cabriolet...talk me out of it!

I sold my Triumph motorcylcle, sent the Jetta and Honda off to my daughters, and now want the air and something fun. Criteria so far is a coupe, 6+ cylinders, and now a convertible. Used E320 Cabriolet seems more practical than an SL 500.What pain am I subjecting myself to???

dude, i am in no position to talk you out of it. if you can find a good one and have 10k then why not?? although for 10k, i would get a SL500 only because of the HP difference! good luck!

Ya might look at a CLK.
Most were convertibles and their prices are reasonable.
I have a E-320, 1996. Good cars and handle better than their size should allow, but they are a little heavy for tossing hard into corners. You can almost feel the rubber leaving the tires. The CLK's did come with the 6 cyls, and I would imagine due to a little less weight, their milage would be better. I get 28mpg on the freeway at 80mph.

I think my next car will be one.
