locking gas cap?

does anyone know were i can get a locking gasoline cap for a 1994 E320 station wagon?

apparently this one doesn't have the pneumatic locking gas door so i need the locking cap and even if it's supposed to,i still need this.

all the local dealers are no help and are totally dumbfounded by my questions.

aftermarket is OK. please post brand name or what ever information so i can find it...or a link.

yes i did.i went to an autozone and the computer told them this was the one.they let me try it before i bought it and it doesn't work.it doesn't fit right at all.only one side will catch and the seal is too small to properly work.it's exactly the same one on the link.

i'm surprised MB doesn't sell one and apparently there are none in the aftermarket.

Your car indeed came equipped with a vacuum actuator to lock the gas cap. It's likely failed. A replacement is $35-$45. Pretty easy access via the window wash bottle compartment opposite the spare tire compartment. I'm relatively certain the part number is 129 800 25 75. Yes, it will be difficult to find a locking gascap as there was never a need for one on any USA W124. That's ANY.

thanks, that makes alot of sense.i'll look into it and see what gives.

i have to say though, when talking to one of the local dealers,he told me it was optional and not all of them came with the locking door.yet another reason why i don't let anyone touch any of my rides.
