Hi everyone,
I´m about to buy a 1991 300SE for 2300euros with only 91,000kms. I`m wondering about spares as it has no ITV MOT. I want to convert it to LPG to make it cheaper to run. Anyone had any expeience of this in Spain?
cheers nice to be here.

Bienvenidos Juan

LPG conversions are very specialised and expensive here in Spain.
I would have thought though if you are living in Madrid, that would be the city that would be most likely to do LPG conversions.

It may be cheaper in the long run to drive the car to the UK and get it converted there as many companies that carry out LPG conversions there.

The other consideration is finding service stations that have LPG pumps!

LPG Madrid

Buenos dias Redliner,
Actually its becoming more common to convert in Spain and there are a more places selling gas. I got a quote for 750pounds (a 1991 300SE) to have it converted in the UK. Apparently the insurance here is OK with a conversions. ..that is Mutua Madrid who are also very cheap.
