Nice

Hi
I have a 350SL.
Yours is the 207th of these ever made.
VERY early series car.
I hope you have no rust as that can get bad on these.
I have a rusty one (350slc) that will have to be parted out.
The 350 was predecessor of the later US version 450SLC.
You may or may not have a US car,
the Euro had the more powerful 3.5 liter motor, but even the US version had more than the 450 later.
Good Luck with it.
I am in L A.
Alex

If you need any help let me know.
The VIN is describing model , engine size , transmission and serial numbers.
US cars start with
WDB (W for West Germany, DB for Daimler Benz ) so
WDB 107 (107 is Model 2door coupe/ convertible/roadster /SL/SLC)
WDB 107 023 (023 is 350 slc, 24 is 450 slc, 43 is 350 or 380 SL.! etc.)
WDB 107 023 10 (10 is manual,12 is Auto transmission, 11 was semi auto 50s &60s)
WDB 107 023 10 000207 Is serial number #000207 off production line and to my knowledge they never(?) skipped a number, that's how you can tell the total production figures.
Need more ?
Alex
