New (old) Mercedes owner

Hello All-

After a long history of American and Japanese cars, I've finally bought my first Mercedes. I bought it in a hurry and without doing as much research as I would typically undergo, but after hearing so many positive experiences from W123 and W124 owners, I felt OK about taking the plunge.

It's a 1991 300TE with barely more than 100,000 miles. Although it's the slowest thing I've owned in a while, I'm falling in love with the comfort and smoothness my Benz displays. I'm still learning about the intricacies of the breed, but this forum seems to be the place to learn more about them. I'm looking forward to getting to know the members of this community!

I'm a full-time employee at Grassroots Motorsports and Classic Motorsports magazines, so I'm always looking to document neat tips and tricks of ownership.
