can someone run an "AUTO CHECK" for me?

wdbca45d3ja379695.. I did a Carfax report and it shows an accident in the early 90's but no info. about it.... TIA (Thanks in advance...)

I don't think even Abby and McGee at NCIS could come up with car repair history data for a ~15-year old event.

That's one of the many problems with Carfax and Autocheck. First of all they don't pick up all accidents, so peope misinterpret cars as accident free when they aren't. And secondly they don't show the severity of the accident when obviously there is a wide range of damages from minor paint work to frame carnage. If you have a minor reported accident you should take pictures to show to future prospective buyers, but nobody does. I too think you're pretty much screwed on this one.

One way I can think of is to find out who owned the car when it was wrecked and ask them (or find out what body shop did the work). I know this is a big IF but I have sometimes gotten the names from the used car dealer who traded for the car.
