Cleaning Leather on CLK 350

I have 2007 CLK 350 and wanted to clean + condition the leather. I just bought this car 2 weeks ago CPO. One of my friends told me that my car might not be real leather. However, the Merc dealership told me that it's real leather. Does anyone know whether the '07 CLK 350 has the leatherette option? How can I tell whether it's real or not? Comparing to the C Class loaner vehicle, the leather in my car feels and smells real to me.

If it's real leather, what do you recommend that I use to clean/condition the leather? I heard great things about Leatherique, Connolly and Zaino. Would it be okay for me to you Meguire's Gold Class in the mean time? I'm going away for 2 weeks and wanted to treat the leather (ASAP) prior to my departure, since it's getting cold.

Your respose will much appreciated.

Lots of opinions about leather care. As mentioned read all about it on the Detailing forum and draw your own comclusions. One guy says NOT to use Meguiar's Gold Class because it contains silicone but I have and it seems to do a reasonable job.
