How to resolve this delemma

I took my 1985 MB 500 SEC to mechanic to check why it stalled after it warms up. Found out that it was only running on two cylindars Why? A person installed new spark plug wire and spark plugs only thing out of hatred. He swapped six plugs with fulty and and the other two he use two new ones. He kept the six for himself. Two spark plug plugs he stuffed tar in them and now there is no compression. The #4 and #6 cylindarw are the ones stuffed with tar. The engine needs to be replaced. Is there another alternative to clean this without going through all this expense.

Law suit? Criminal prosecution for destruction of property?

For a 1980 engine, the practical thing would be to get rid of the car selling it as or for parts.
If it is a keeper, rebuild the engine.

As for the other problem: If you have solid proof, have whoever did it prosecuted. Do not escalate, unless you want to go for broke and pay the piper in big house time. Whoever did that is deranged or unconscious of what has done, and may know no limits.

Good luck. JV

I see some major holes in that there story. I mean, who stocks tar to stuff into cylinders "out of hatred"?

Just a thought.

Hmm, take the car to a MB dealer, have them document the issue, and then confront the person or persons with a potential lawsuit. The person who sold it (did it run), or the mechanic who maybe wants to purchase it for dirt. There is a lot of info missing.
