Cool Problem with SLK230: Brakes, spring, and leak from drive shaft seal


I am new in the forum. I have an SLK230 model 2000 (57.000miles) and I thought my brakes were weak. I took it to the dealer (paid £50) for a health check and they found several things:

-Front brake discs and pads need replacement: £469
-Brake fluid replacement: £93
-Spring front near side broken (donno how!?): £266
-Leak from left drive shaft seal: £565
-Down pipe bolts corroaded also manifold security bolt: £ 1000
So the sum would be more than £2000 !!!!

I am really shocked about the bill. I would like to ask whether these are real figures or dealer figures and how much it will cost if I take it to a local garage or Kwik fit.
