Arrow 2004 brand new E220CDI

I was offered a brand new 2004 midel E220CDI at about half of the price in 2004 !
Can any member in the forum advice me if there will be any major problems that may arise since the car is basically idle for years ! What are the things/parts that I should change before driving with a peace of mind !Thank you for you gays' help .

I would change all the fluids/filters including the fuel tank. Take a good look at the serpentine belt and check the tires for dry rot. Load test the battery.

Calling 6 years old car "brand new" is a stretch.
I can link you to RV forum where dealing with vehicles sitting for long periods is constant issue.
You can find all kind of advices. Starting from
"Crawl out and lock the door" to
"remove the tires, remove the batteries, change all the fluids"
Since this is not US vehicle I assume you are not in this country?
Bad battery or bad tires will show right away. I wouldn't worry too much about anything else if the car was stored in dry garage. Drove on diesel older than 6 years just fine.

I think u should check your car to the mechenic. He can help u better.
