ml 20 inch wheels fitment

i have a 2000 ml 320 looking at new wheels that are aftermarket

they are 112 x 20 x 8.5 have a offset et 38

will these work ?

i know my stocks were a 16 inch 8j offset 62

thanks for your help.......

The offset may not work, I think they will rub because the rim is wider then the standard rim and has the same offset.

those wheels will stick out 24mm more as the offset is 24mm less.

so if they stick out 24 mm then they should work, correct? i dont mind if they stick out a little more makes it a bit more aggresive looking maybe

Sticking out might be good to somebody's taste, but than it might interfere with fender clearance. ML has tricky suspension. Most of the time the suspension don't sag enough to close the gap between top of the tire and fender, but under heavy load on road bumps it will.
I had the situation on ML55 where even with correct sizing -different brand tire was 10mm wider at the crown than OEM tire. Drove with it for 2 years just fine, till I hooked up a trailer with heavy tongue weight and than rubbing happen.
