Hengst/Mann Distributors

Does anyone know where they are? I'm from Southern California and I'm tired of having to go to the dealership to buy filters.

Autohaus AZ ships free on orders of $50 or more. That shouldn't be too hard.

Shipping to your dealer was free? He's not passing the cost along to you?

You can also try PartsGeek (Discount Auto Parts Online - Mercedes Parts, BMW Parts, Volvo Parts, Volkswagen Parts - PartsGeek.com New Auto Body Parts). I have found their prices for filters and the like to be lowest among the vendors that sponsor this site. They have a flat rate for shipping that is quite low, they usually ship the same day you order, and I have usually gotten my orders in three days or less. They ship Mann filters as OEM replacements.

I suspect their prices are low enough compared to a store price that the shipping will not drive the prices above the store prices.

Good luck on your hunt.

I went to a Car Quest store here looking for a MB light bulb. When the guy heard I had a Mercedes, he pulled up page after page of MB parts, OE, OEM, and aftermarket. We specifically discussed filters and he showed me German-made Knecht, Mann and Mahle (don't remember seeing Hengst). Everything like that is a special order for them but we didn't discuss price or turnaround time.

Hengst, Mann, and Knecht are all OEM. Any BenzWorld general purpose sponsor can supply these as a matter of routine.
