I live in the Niagara Penninsula area of Ontario Canada.
I have a 1997 E-420 AMG that I purchased about a month ago. It has a little less than 200,000 km on it and for some reason the body and interior are 8.5/10. I am the third owner and I can only assume the reason the body is in such good shape is because the previous owners have used touch-up paint.
I have noticed some electrical problems (power seat controls work intermitently, interiour lights don't work on the "door switch" etc). but everything else is solid. It consumes about a litre of oil every 3,000 km.
Anything I should watch for? What about this "sealed" transmission?
