Columbus OH parts-mechanic ?

I'm a new owner of an 1987 400/420SEL. Is there a parts store around? Any relible mechanics?

Negative. All the mechanics have passed away and good luck getting so much as a lightbulb.

Autohausaz is a good source for parts. If you need help with repairs, feel free to ask on the w126 forum.

Congratulations on your mercedes and welcome.

Contact your local chapter of MBUSA (based in Columbus) for a good Indy shop. That's a pretty active group and I belong to it, but I'm over 120 miles away in West Virginia so cannot help you with any issues local to you. If you like, I have some contact info for them and can PM or email that to you. There should be a link to them, Cental Ohio Section, from the main website. Good luck and welcome to the forum.
