just got epc + wis, does any1 no howto install it ,

just got the 5 discs, put it in but havent got a clue how to install it , pls help me

If you're in the US, you don't need any discs to run the EPC and it's free and current. All you need to do is subscribe online. WIS is another story.

There are some "copies" of the WIS that are not compatible with MS Vista, there are also some that require the use of a "keygen" program that creates a the required serial number for the WIS software to be installed. All of that info is typically provided by the seller.

I believe you would at least need a credit card with a US address to subscribe to the US EPC. And it is only free for US models.

But it costs only £15 to subscribe to the European service:
Daimler AG - Service & Parts net

Both of these are usually easy if you know what to do (good instructions). Try DAS and Xentry and it becomes a more interesting challenge.

EPC is the Electronic Parts Catalog, showing part numbers like in this example:
PARTSCATALOG.RU

WIS is the Workshop Information System, showing how to perform different service tasks and explaining how the car works.
