Talking Yet Another Mercedes Fanatic

Good day to you!

I just subscribed to this forum after having read it for the past few month.
I have quite a good knowledge about cars but absolutely no experience. And as experience is superior to knowledge, I came here to get taught about the world best brand's cars.
As a result of an incredible and unfortunate wrong statement, I don't have my driving license yet, and I'm 21 (but my exam is scheduled on Oct 20th). Please don't ask me to explain this, because I'll get really mad .
I'm currently looking for a first car to buy, and was thinking about a W202 C230 Kompressor... until I saw that some C36 rockets are actually very affordable.
My love for MB comes from my dad's 1998 W202 C250 TurboDiesel (Esprit). It is hands down the best vehicle he ever had. He sold it for a brand new 2003 BMW 320d Compact, but (and feelings cannot always be explained) it was no match to the Mercedes soul. If you wonder why I'm talking about diesel cars that are not available in America, that's because I moved from France to Québec 3 years ago.
I recently test drove a C230K and felt something so special I couldn't even tell... a weird mix of totally controlled power, elegance and lightness, with a smooth and sharp handling that makes you feel of the road only what you want to feel.
Anyways... lets stop dreaming and get back to real life. As you can see English is not my mother tongue, I learned it the hard way at work. Please do not hesitate to correct any of my mistakes, as I really want to make my English better.

That is all I can say now, except that I thank you all for the good reading you provided me with already even without knowing.

Take care and see you in the W202 section
