Musician by Day, Mercedes by Night!

I have been a happy driver of many older Mercedes for several years now. I enjoy working on my C280, 560SL, 380SLC vehicles and appreciate the forums here to help figure stuff out! Will be driving my 87' 560SL to the mountains of Virginia tomorrow for a day off out in the Blue Ridge with my family, gf and dog. I bought that car after I sold a beautiful old 1971 Datsun 240Z to a guy in California. Recently, I had a buddy repaint my 2000 C-280 last month and it looks terrific. If you need a good painter and your near central Virginia I got the guy for you. And lastly, I am currently working on getting a 1981 380SLC running. The car turns over but will not fire up! If I can get the time I'd love to get that car running. I rescued it from inside a barn on a farm about a year ago. I like it because it looks great and has a ton of leg room for my 6'4 frame. Kind of the hard top version of my 560SL which requires me to do the "Detroit lean" to get comfortable.
Oh, I almost forgot, I own a music business for the past 18 years selling vintage guitars and amplifiers and play in a variety samba, swing jazz band as a pianist/singer. Life is good!
